Default Electric Datsun B210 stomps 2005 400hp Corvette at the drags

http://www.plasmaboyracing.com/videos.php

Also beat BMW M3, cop cars, just about everything. Cant tell what the car started out as but Datsun B210 close enough for me.

It has tremendous low end torque.

thats because an electric motor makes 100 percent of its torque thru the whole rpm range, whether its 1 rpm or 10,000

The amount of horsepower an electric motor can make is limitless. It all depends on the windings and how they are done. hell, just look at the electric winches on the front of offroaders. They pull out 4,000 lb vehicles lodged in mud and the weak link is the cable. Not the motor.

Very ingenious to stick it in a Datsun

That was a regular C5, not a Z06. BIG Difference...!

However, that was impressive for an electric motor.

It said 405 hp 2005 Corvette wouldnt that be a Z06, it did have the big rear window so you are probably right. I remember the short back window Z06 made 405 hp. The new one with the fast back window makes 505 hp.

No Z06 in 2005, and the stock C6 Coupe came with 400bhp in 2005.
