Here it is folks the much anticipated ‘Reventon’ in all it’s glory. The name comes from the famous bull, raised by Heriverto Rodriguez. The bull, in 1943 killed a novillero, Felix Guzman in Mexico. Only 20 will be made, all of which have been spoken for. CarFront has already heard some rumors from some notable sources that Lamborghini will be producing 100 units. The car is supposed to hit you pocket book at over one million dollars, and has 20 HP more than the LP640
“The Reventon is the most expensive and exclusive car the company has ever created.” Says Lamborghini, and no doubt this the Reventon is carrying one of the most radical designs that Lamborghini has showcased yet. Inspired by the F22 Raptor, the interior ‘cockpit’ definitely has the feel of strapping into a fighter jet, all the way down to the gauges.
CarFront has noticed feedback on both ends from many car forums all over the net of the spectrum on the Reventon rom many car forums all over the net. From “Cutting edge!,” Brilliant, Striking, I love it!” to comparisons to tuner cars, and “A real disappointment.” Regardless of your thoughts on the car, one thing can be said. Lamborghini has always been know for some outrageous styling and concepts, this car definitely follows suite.
When asked by CarFront on what he thought about the car, James Glickenhaus, the man behind the Ferrari P4/5 (A truly unique car itself) said, “I’m glad that there is a resurgence of Coach Building.”
Joe Sackey’s thoughts, “As for the concept, words fail. Obviously the company feels that playing “pretend fighter pilot” is top priority for its elite clientele.”
