Six-wheeler On The Way At Last
Nearly 30 years after first having the idea, maverick Italian vehicle builder Ferruccio Covini is set to realise his dream of making a six-wheeled sports car.
A prototype C6W debuted at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, and this year Covini will unveil the production version (right). The scissor-doored two-seater takes power from a 366bhp 4.2-litre V8.
It is not goodlooking, but I'm very curious as to how it handles. Covini deserves credit for balls and perseverence (sp?) alone.
