hey guys i found this article quite informative by car and driver. they tested out the new SL600 by mercedes and got some pretty damned quick times outta it. to the tune of 3.6 sec 0-60 and 11.9@120 mph quarter mile. i found these times to be very surprising considering mercedes claims like 4.5 sec 0-60 times i mean it states in the article that they got 4.5 0-60 and 13 sec quarter mile times outta the SL55 AMG. and they are similar in power. the explanation that they give in the article for the time differences is more TQ at lower RPMs but jeez about a full second on both 1/4 mile and 0-60 seems like a lot to me. maybe mercedes is underrating their power claims for the twin turbo V12 motor? who knows just curious on what you all thought of it.
