I find single malt and single single malt a bit hard on the taste if I drink more than one or two of them.
For that I like cheaper whiskey some kind of blend is nice like Famous Grouse, Jameson and stuff like that,it doesnt got the same strong taste,but if you are buying I wouldnt say no to a nice single malt....

Yes I also enjoy a nice blended whiskey like Makers Mark, Johnny Walker (Black), or even Jack Denials. But I find the single malts to be so much better, and I am the opposite, I find Glenlivet (12) to be far smoother than the blended whiskeys I just mentioned.
