Default its about that time to start asking questions...

First to say HELLO! this is one great forum, first car-related site on my bookmarks! now i really need your opinion on this one. This summer i wouldve purchased a 2004 subaru sti, but then i went to see what other options i had...and i stumbled apon the e36 m3...i fell in love! ive never thought much of bmw's, then theres the option of the s4... but im leanning toward the m3, obviously its gonna be used..with like 70k+ minimum!! most price ranges i have seen is 10-20k...but i have never been a fan of used cars, i figured get one about 15k, and fix it up.
on the other hand i have the sti, i can get for less then 2k miles on it and for a pretty darn good price. as my second vehical, i would like it to be something "fun". thanks!

If you want fun, you can't go wrong with the M3! Audis tend not to be as much fun as the BMW.

How much you planning on spending? And how important is performance in your purchase choice?

why not? i see you joined in january, perhaps a little hiatus by not bookmarking the site long ago?

learning to drive a manuel to me is like learning how to ride a bike... ive done it in one form or another since i was fairly young. its the best man machine interface. but for some reason, its not for everyone.

The M3 is the best option if you want fun , the S4 is much more civilized but its a better car also

I am in love with the 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 and I would surely get one if:
1) There was one available with less than 30k miles and was red on black or black on black
2) I wouldn't get attacked with pics or STFU lol

Well on a serious point. I would love to own the Mitsubishi, but since I cannot, I will have to buy an Infinity G35. I know it is a good car and looks great, but when you are in love with a girl (really really in love), even if a prettier girl comes along, you will say "no no."

The morale of the story is, I would advice you to get what you feel right in, not what is better. Like in my case, I know the G35 is newer mor advanced better in many many aspects, however, I would take the USED 99mitsubishi without thinking twice over a new G35.

thanks demon, the only thing thats holding me back is the miles, if i get one for 15k how much would i be putting in to keep it going for another 100k+ miles? also i live in NY, and it freakin snows...which is a semi-hold back.
